Drew has the best teachers, I get email updates with pictures every day. Here are a couple of my favorites:
The first time I dropped Drew off her teacher told me she sure knows how to defend herself. Drew has come a long way from getting smacked and then immediately smacking back other kids at the gym (true story). In her wiser 3 year old years, she's asking 3 times for the other person to stop before giving a good whop over the head. Her teacher said the little boy had it coming! Haha. I'm just happy to hear she was using her words first, that's progress!
July 20, 2015 Allison's First day of kindergarten!

I also think it's so cute how big the required standard backpack is on her!
Allison's only complaint about kindergarten is that they don't give you enough time to eat. She's a slow eater to begin with so I'm sure this is quite the adjustment for her. At her first parent teacher conference we also learned that she is a little annoyed with her neighbor in class, not because he's picking on her but because he doesn't pay attention. Our girl wants to learn! And there's nothing wrong with that :)
We also signed Allison up for some after school activities. It gives Drew a little more nap time and Allison gets to try a few new things - Drawing class, Spanish, and Pre-Engineering/Lego class. So far all three have been great!
The best part about our new schedule? My heart melts every day after school when the girls first see each other. They are so excited to be together that they give a great big hug and tell each other "I missed you!". ❤️❤️❤️
