Congrats Craig!

It's official, Craig has a Bachelor's in Fire Science!! He's been working toward it for the past 2 years. This was after 2 years of paramedic school & clinicals so its been a long journey but he's finally done. He'll be testing for Engineer later this fall, and hopefully (in the not so distant future) a Captain's position too.

Here are a couple pictures from commencement in Flagstaff last Friday. Craig's parents came up for the ceremony too. All the guys wore their fire helmets, and there was a firefighter dinner for all the families afterwards.




Craig and I decided to make a weekend of it and maybe even hike the Grand Canyon (would you believe Craig's never been?!?!) but we definitely celebrated a little too much because we never made it up there. Instead, we nursed our hangovers at the movies and saw the new Star Trek film (it was great by the way!). By Sunday we were feeling good again and took the scenic route home through Sedona & Jerome. We've always wanted to stop in Jerome so it was nice to finally see the ghost town everyone's been talking about.
