The biggest difference when traveling with a toddler (or in this case two):
- Always ensuring there's time for nap time! Even harder is trying to get them to nap around the same time...
- Every night is an early night. We're up at 6am regardless these days so might as well be out before 9pm like the kiddos. Bonus: We did get to sleep in until 7:30am one day :)
- It's always snack time. Keeping food (they will actually eat) on hand at all times is no easy feat.
- Mom & dad are back on shifts. When they're babies, its so you can sit down and eat. As toddlers it's for relief! Between their short attention spans and the need to just run around, it's not easy trying to eat out or go shopping. We're getting into the tantrum phase too, and suprisingly I haven't found it too embarrassing. Honestly, what can you really do. Every kid is going to "need a moment" sometime...
