For their anniversary, my parents spent a week in Hawaii. Mom was very excited to came back with a new wedding ring "from home". They also had a 30th anniversary party at Aloha Kitchen for some food and fun with their closest friends. Not to mention they got to show off the new grandbaby of course :) Craig and I were eager for the opportunity to get our first family photo (Allison at 6 weeks):
For our anniversary we decided to finally use the Flemings gift card I won at work last August. We kept meaning to use it during the pregnancy but just couldn't find the extra cash with all the baby gear we had to buy. We made sure to stay close to home, dropped Allison off at my parents' house, and enjoyed an amazing steak and lobster dinner. It's crazy that Allison was born around the same time we started dating 10 years ago!
Speaking of Miss Allison, she has her first stuffy this week. She's been grunting a lot and sounds like a little piggy when she's hungry, haha. The good news is that she's up only once a night these days! She's very alert during the day now - and extremely curious - but I'm trying to help her squeeze in a few naps. Everyone's happier when she sleeps a little during the day! She also discovered her right hand so she's been sucking on it nonstop. Here are a few of our favorite pictures from the past few weeks:
