In true Halver fashion, Craig and I booked some trips this month :) The deals are plentiful and its hard not to take advantage of them!
First we booked a trip to New Orleans for the Heritage and Jazz Festival. One of our favorite bands, Kings of Leon, is playing not to mention the Jazz Fest is one of 1000 things to do before you die (so says the book...). Either way, we've never been to New Orleans so it should be a fantastic time. Were also heading to Vegas & Denver for a couple weddings, Flagstaff for Craig's graduation (he gets his bachelor's in less than 3 months!!), and Havasupai falls for a little outdoors/hiking adventure. The biggie, however, is a 7 day Eastern Caribbean cruise to the Bahamas and US Virgin Islands. It will be a nice way to get out of the heat not to mention we found a fabulous rate. Apparently 2009 is the year to cruise because there's a ton of deals right now!
On another note, a huge congrats goes out to my dad!! He accepted an offer for a new job, his first day is today. Congrats dad :)

Sorry, I'm new to this blogging thing...accidentally removed my previous comment. To tell you the truth Nicole and Craig, what you are doing is great. Taking trips, spending time together with friends and family, Life is too short and living it is the only way. Glad to hear that your Dad found a job. Lots of people these days are still looking especially here in Boise...pretty sad! But life must go on! I am still working as a Part-time Cashier at Meridian, Wal-Mart and enjoying it. Sounds like a good time...My hubby also graduates in May, how cool are our husbands? We are also hoping to take a nice cruise in August...Carnival has some super rates, too...and I am super jealous about New Orleans, we LOVE that place...eat some beignets for me =-)
