My mom, Megan, Laura, & Gail hosted an amazing wedding shower for Craig and me on February 3, 2007. The food layout was fantastic and there were fresh flowers everywhere! We loved it ;) Also featured were the Bride Appletinis & Firefigher Cosmopolitans, not to mention raffle prizes, volleyball, and fresh flower favors. Needless to say, (and it was on the invitations) this was not your typical wedding shower....
As far as the wedding planning goes, lately it's all about details, details, details. I've been getting in touch with all my vendors to finalize our plans and timeline. My latest task is the "wedding rehearsal". I put this in quotes because there's really no rehearsal the day before the wedding. Craig and I are inviting our bridal party and out of town guests to our home for a casual get together the night before the wedding. Our actual "rehearsal" will be an hour before the ceremony so this is truly our chance to spend quality time with close family and friends. An early thank you to Don & Gail Halver for hosting the fiesta! Yes, this will be a mexican themed party since one of our favorite restaurants is catering - Rancho de Tia Rosa. We're looking forward to seeing everyone!
